Howdy, Julie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! Just the mention of this dinner show gets me in a hand-clappin', foot-stompin' mood for fun! The Pioneer Players sure know how to have a good time, and parties of all sizes are welcome to join in on the fun!
Julie, you'll be happy to know that Pioneer Hall can accommodate a party of 8 Guests! My own family has visited with a party of 8 and we were seated in Category 1 seating; just to confirm, I did a mock booking on the
My Disney Experience mobile app and there was availability in all categories for a party of 8 on several different dates. If you are trying to book for a specific date and not finding the options you would like, I can suggest a couple of things:
- Split your large party into two smaller parties. You may have better luck finding two tables of 4, especially with an arrival date just about two weeks away.
- Call Disney dining and speak with a Cast Member who might be able to look more closely at the available seating options to help.
- Be flexible with your date - when you search for an advance dining reservation, you can enter a range of dates to see all possible options. If your category of seating is more of a priority than the date you attend the show, you might have some luck finding that option within a range of dates rather than just one specific date.
Having attended this show many times, I have sat in each category and I can promise you there is not a bad seat in Pioneer Hall! No matter where you sit, you will feel like you are a part of the show and you will fully enjoy all of the antics of the performers! To be honest, seating in the upper levels gives you a birds-eye view and my kids really love the rotating chairs so they can twist and turn along with the action of the show! I think you'll have a root-tootin' grand time no matter where you sit!
Julie, I hope this helps and I'll be sending lots of pixie dust your way that your party gets the perfect reservation for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! Remember to give yourself a little extra time to travel to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for this show; you want to also arrive about 30 minutes before your reservation time to check in and receive your seating assignments! Once inside, don't forget the two most important things - beer, wine, and sangria are included for Guests age 21 and older, and make sure you save room for dessert!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
