If I am in party 2 of a rider switch, can I bring any other 2 guests with me when I ride? For example, could I bring 2 of my sisters kids with me? What are the rules regarding the 2 additional guests that are allowed?

    Hi Kristen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you stopped by with a great question! It's exciting to hear that you are traveling with your extended family! I love traveling with my brother and his family. Our kids always have such a great time, and I know that these fun memories will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

The Rider Switch Service at Walt Disney World Resort has been an absolute blessing for my family. It always seems that one child isn't tall enough, and another may not be brave enough. The Rider Switch Service allows for all willing and able members of your party to experience participating attractions. When using this service, one adult can wait with the non-rider(s) while the rest of your travel party experiences the attraction. When the other members of your party return, they can then supervise the non-riding Guests. It now will be your turn to experience the attraction without having to wait in the regular line.

Rider Switch is available at all 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks at participating locations. To use Rider Switch, your entire party will have to go to the Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction to verify that the attraction participates. One adult member of your party and the Guests who are not riding will be issued a Rider Switch entitlement (Party 2.) The other members of your party (Party 1) will enter the queue to ride the attraction. After experiencing the attraction, Party 1 locates you, Party 2, and takes over the supervision of non-riding Guests. Party 2 will then board the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue. It is essential to know that only 3 Guests are allowed per Rider Switch Pass, including you. Therefore, you can choose two other people to ride the attraction with you, even if that means that your sister's kids get to experience the attraction twice.

To make the most out of your Disney World Resort vacation, don't forget to take advantage of FastPass+ . If you are staying at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can make your FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance of your stay for the length of your stay with a valid theme park ticket. If you are staying outside of Walt Disney World Resort, you can make your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance of your stay for the length of your stay. Advance Dining Reservations can also be made 180 days in advance. We always enjoy one sit down meal experience as a family. One of our favorites is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time!
