Hi, our party has resort reservations for October 6. Our flight comes in around 11:30ish and by the time we get to our resort it will be after midnight. So should I keep the room for the 6th or book starting the 7th. Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Claudia!

I'm so excited to see that you're getting ready for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Since it sounds like you'll be staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels, you can take advantage of all of the benefits and amenities that they offer. Be sure to consider purchasing MagicBands because it's so nice to have access to your hotel room and to make purchases to be charged to your hotel account with just the touch of your MagicBand!

Since you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort late in the evening, it's important to get a nice, relaxing night of sleep before you hit the theme parks! Since check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for Disney Resort hotels and 4:00 p.m. for Disney Deluxe Villas, if your reservation starts on October 7, you won't be able to access your room until the afternoon of October 7. So it sounds like you've made your reservation correctly and you should keep your check-in date of October 6 to allow you to enjoy your comfortable accommodations once you arrive, even if it's after midnight on October 7!

Since you're vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort during the fall, I recommend that you consider adding a trip to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to your vacation itinerary. It's my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom and you'll love enjoying all of the tricks and treats of this Halloween extravaganza!

Feel free to come back to see us if we can help you again as your vacation approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
