Welcome back to planDisney, Peter!
I was in the exact same boat when I was planning my Walt Disney World Resort vacation for my trip back in January. I had 16 people in my party, and getting Dining Reservations seemed like it was going to be a huge ordeal! But I’m happy to say that it was not an issue! I’ll give you a few options that you can use to make sure your party is dining together (or close together).
My first tip is to
call a Cast Member as they may be able to find dining options available to accommodate your entire party at once. This isn’t guaranteed, especially with the precautions being taken during the Phased Reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, but it is always worth a try as sometimes they are able to make larger reservations!
My next tip is to get another party member to help you book
Dining Reservations. If you have two or more computers open and working at the same time, often you’ll be able to see and secure similar dining times for your whole party (even if you’re sitting a different tables). I did this for my party of 16 and we were able to dine very closely together for our whole weeklong vacation!
There are also some great
Quick Service dining options, that do not require reservations, available! Many of these locations will have enough seating to accommodate your whole party! Two of my massive family’s favorites were
Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
I’m sending all of the happy thoughts to you, Peter! If you have additional questions
give a little whistle as we’d love to hear from you again!
