Hey, Daniel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mmm...
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is so delicious. These pizza pies are baked in one of three ovens named after the volcanos Mt. Vesuvius, Mt. Edna and Stromboli. The pizza dough is made with water at the same pH in Naples, Italy, providing a unique native pizza crust taste.
Here is the breakdown for the pizza and the Disney Dining Plan based on my conversation about the most up-to-date information from the Disney Dining Cast Member.
Any
pizza that is 10 to 12 inches in diameter (individual pie) will require 1 Table Service entitlement. 18-inch (Large) pizza pies require two Table Service entitments. The Mezzo Metro is not a circle, it is an oval and it's HUGE. No Mezzo Metro pizza pies are covered under the Disney Dining Plan. The Mezzo Metro is thicker crust than the rest and serves 3-5 adults easily.
If you want to use your Disney Dining Plan credits then you will need to order two individual pies or one Large pie. The Large is plenty food for two people and may even provide you leftovers for another time...perhaps breakfast.
Disney Dad Tip: Make sure to save some room while visiting the Epcot World Showcase. Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion has scrumptious caramel and chocolate treats while the France pavilion has the best macarons at
L'Artisan des Glaces.
Daniel, enjoy making many Magical Memories at
Walt Disney World Resort!
