We’re a party of 50+ up to 100 people. We probably would need more than 10 rooms for 2 nights on Thanksgiving weekend (Friday check in-Sunday check out). What options can we have? We’re class fellows from single sessions so it’ll be multiple families.

Hi Furqan and welcome to planDisney!

Walt Disney World is the perfect destination to have a big group gathering!  I am a coordinator for a reunion of 100+ Guests at Walt Disney World every year, so hopefully I can give you some suggestions so that your fun bunch can have the best time in November.

First, I would like to suggest that you reach out to Disney Meetings & Events as soon as possible.  Since you're looking at coming during one of the busiest times of year at the parks, inventory may be limited as we are only a couple months away at this point.  Disney Meetings & Events can help you choose the right Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your group and set up a room block so that each family can call in and book on their own.  I am usually given a few Disney Resort hotel choices that fit various budgets.  Disney Meetings & Events can also help plan a private event if your group is interested in something like that during your visit.  I have set up a private dessert party during fireworks, breakfast in a park before the park opens and also a cocktail hour as the sun sets on Disney's BoardWalk.  It's a nice way to add a little extra magic to an already magical gathering.

You can certainly make reservations yourself, but you can't search for or book multiple rooms at a time online.  A friendly Reservations Cast Member can help you out over the phone to check room inventory and can book them for you if you're ready and have all the information needed.  You can also request for the rooms to be near each other, but note this is not guaranteed.

I hope I have directed you to a good starting point to get your Walt Disney World party started.  Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
