We are a party of 12pax travelling in Dec 2013. If we want to book a restaurant on a night that MVMCP is on, do we have to have a ticket? We will be staying at a Disney Hotel inc hopper tickets. Can we just come into the park and eat dinner and then leave?

    Hi Charmon,

On the nights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Magic Kingdom closes at 7 p.m. to guests without party tickets. If you are already in the park before 7, you are welcome to finish your dinner, but you will be asked to proceed to the exit once you leave the restaurant. (Party-goers are given wristbands to distinguish them from other park guests).

So if you want to dine at Magic Kingdom on a party night, I would suggest you make sure everyone in your group is inside the park no later than about 5:30 and that you make your reservation for no later than about 6:30. That way you can have a leisurely group dinner, then exit through the party festivities when you are finished.

You might even have time to hop on the monorail and get to Epcot in time to see the holiday edition of IllumiNations.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer other planning questions for you and your group. It sounds as if you have a wonderful visit ahead. Enjoy!
