Hi Kristin! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Oh boy! Oh boy! Your
Walt Disney World vacation starts in just a couple of more days. I hope you and the rest of your party are so excited to finally be on your way! I love the last few days leading up to the trip knowing all the exciting adventures that await! Depending on the last time you visited Walt Disney World or if this is your first, I’m sure there are plenty of experiences that will be new and exciting for you to try.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a fascinating land at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you can easily spend an entire day just exploring the shops, dining, and attractions!
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run has turned into one of my favorite rides at Walt Disney World. My two young daughters were able to ride it for the first time on our most recent trip and I was surprised by how much they loved it. The queue on that ride is incredibly immersive, so even if you must wait for a bit, there is a lot to experience while you do. Once you get to the front of the ride line, they will break you off into groups. Each ride vehicle holds six Guests, which means there is a chance that another small group will be sharing the experience with you. You can make a request to the Cast Member when you get to that point in the line, but since this attraction is incredibly popular, these requests are not always granted. If you do end up with a full-ride vehicle, this will work out in your favor. Each Guest has a crucial role in flying and operating the Millennium Falcon, whether that is the pilot, engineer, or gunner. It will be helpful to have others join you on your mission!
Mission: SPACE is another simulated attraction where you find yourself deep in the orbit of space. You’ll have a choice between a more intense ride by choosing the Orange Mission or a more gentile experience by going with the Green Mission. This ride vehicle holds up to four Guests and is more cramped than the spacious Millennium Falcon was. Again, there is a chance that a single rider will join you on your mission, but that will not be as likely on this attraction. There is no single rider line entrance, so the chances of them filling the spot with just one is unlikely. Also, if you speak to a Cast Member at the front of the ride line, you’ll have a better chance for your request to be granted.
Kristin, I hope you have the best time riding these attractions! Have a magical time during your upcoming stay!
See ya real soon!
