Hey there, Brennan! Welcome back to planDisney!
I totally get the Funko Pop! love. For her first day of school this year, I gave my daughter, who is obsessed with the classic sitcom
Boy Meets World, a Funko Pop! of her favorite character, Cory Matthews. She treasures her Cory, and I got some cool mom points!
Disney Parks exclusive Funko Pop! figures make awesome souvenirs when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. I’m still sad I couldn’t snag
this Mickey on the Disney Skyliner figure from 2019 in the parks before it reached collectible status. Before I give you some tips on where to look for these cute bobbleheads, I have a suggestion that will save you some time and energy. Stop by any gift shop and tell a Cast Member you’re on the hunt for Funko figures. The Cast Members are able to search all the merchandise inventory throughout the parks and Disney Springs and can tell you where specific items are located. I once made a beeline from EPCOT to Disney Springs because there was one Briar Rose Gold Mickey sweatshirt in my size in a Disney Springs shop – my husband and kids went back to the resort for a swim and I hustled myself to that store and got my prize! If you look online in advance and make a wish list, you’ll be ready to inquire about specific items – but don’t get your hearts set on anything, as these collectible items often sell out. I also recommend checking
shopDisney's selection.
Here’s the deal with where to look for Funko Pop! figures, Brennan. These items are typically located close to where they would be found within the world of the parks. Skyliner Mickey was stocked at EPCOT and resorts with Disney Skyliner Stations. The Haunted Mansion figures were stocked at Memento Mori in Magic Kingdom Park, and Hondo Ohnaka’s Pop! was waiting at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can also sometimes find them in the larger gift shops, like
World of Disney in Disney Springs or
Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park. In Disney Springs, I’d also check
Once Upon a Toy and
Star Wars Trading Post. I’ve found the Star Wars shops to be great places to ask about Star Wars and Marvel items – the Cast Members are very knowledgeable, and would happily talk Funko with your collector friends! When in regular gift shops, I
I see your visit is right around the corner, so be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news. There are often merchandise updates, so stay tuned for news about new Funko POP! figures or other items that might be just the thing for your super fan friends and family. Have so much fun on your visit together!
May the Funko Force Be With You!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
