Our party is meeting up with another party during a few of our theme park days this July. Can I reserve dining so that we can all eat together, or does each party have to make a reservation?

Hiya, April! Thanks for reaching out to planDisney, where we welcome any and all questions about Disney vacations.

Dining at the Walt Disney World Resort is probably my favorite topic. I just made my advanced dining reservations for my upcoming trip this summer and I couldn't be more excited! Each time I go, I try to eat somewhere I've never eaten before. Some of my favorites at the resort are Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney SpringsCalifornia Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. When selecting places to eat at the resort, there is no shortage of options and you're bound to find something that appeals to everyone in your group!

Planning with family and friends is easy at the Walt Disney World Resort. All you have to do is go to the "My Family & Friends" page of your My Disney Experience account and add them by clicking "Add a Guest." Follow the prompts and you'll be asked for their email address to send them an invitation. Once they've accepted, they will be connected to you and when making advanced dining reservations, you'll be able to select them and they'll be able to select you. You can even make Lightning Lane reservations together if you've both purchased the Disney Genie+ Service and join Virtual Queues together!

Just keep in mind that there are two options once you are connected as to what you want to share. You can share "All My Plans" (which means they will see all of your plans, even the ones they are not a part of) or "Only Our Shared Plans" (which means they will only see plans that you are both connected to). You can always change this by going back to the "My Family & Friends" page, finding their name, and clicking "Update."

April, I hope that you and your friends have a wonderful summertime visit to the resort full of amazing culinary adventures. Be sure to reach out again if you have any other questions. We always look forward to helping Guests!

    Eat all the good stuff,
    Matt
