We have a party of 13. When meal reservations are made for that many, how does it work once our party arrives at the restaurant? Do we have to wait for a table to open up or is one already prepared for us? Thanks so much! Love the panel!

My family visited WDW just last month with a party of 10.  We had advance reservations for all of our sit-down meals.  As Disney Cast Members will tell you when you book your reservations, what happens is that once you check in at the restaurant the next available table for your party size is what you will be given.  Typically for large parties like yours, they will push a few tables together to accommodate your group.  You may also find that at a few restaurants your group will be asked to split into two or more tables but they will do their best to get you as close together as possible and the Cast Member will let you know about this when you make the reservation.

Even with our large group of ten we never waited too long for a table to open up.  I think the longest we waited was about twenty minutes at Le Cellier.  Have a great time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
