Welcome back to planDisney, Gina! I'm happy to answer another question for you today. We are getting so close to your trip to Walt Disney World, so it's a great time to think about how dining reservations are going to fit into your plans. I think it's really exciting that you're planning to enjoy the
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package. It's such a magical way to watch
Luminous!
So, let's chat about how to make it work with your party of 5. Since you're seeing availability for tables of 4 but not five in
My Disney Experience, you're definitely on the right track by considering splitting the group into a reservation for 3 and a reservation for 2. It's a great workaround, and yes, you can definitely request to be seated together or near each other when you arrive.
Now, here's the important part: seating requests like this are not guaranteed, but the Cast Members will do their very best to accommodate your group if possible. I recommend arriving at the host stand about 30 minutes before your reservation time and kindly letting them know that your two reservations are part of one larger party and you'd love to be seated together or at least near each other if possible. The earlier they know, the more flexibility they'll have! In some cases, they might be able to push two smaller tables together or seat you side-by-side in the same section, but it all depends on availability and how the patio is set up.
There is still a chance that you may be seated separately, so if that's a dealbreaker for you, you might want to consider another restaurant that can accommodate your party size. But, Cast Members are magical at making things work when they can, and it never hurts to ask with a smile!
Have a magical day, Gina!
