Hey howdy hey Nicole and welcome to planDisney! Springtime in Walt Disney World has got to be my absolute favorite time to visit the parks and resorts. So much is happening with our transition to warmer weather and the start of the growing season! One of my favorite places to enjoy during that time is over at
EPCOT for the International Flower and Garden Festival. So much to see and experience from the special topiaries of many Disney characters around the park, gardening tips from the experts and of course special food offerings. There are so many reasons to visit Walt Disney World Resort for the spring season in every park and resort.
I know for all five of us, my wife and I included, we all love to pick out our own MagicBands for our trips so we can customize our vacation feel with our favorite characters or attractions. One thing that our 3 kids love to do, to say we are officially on “Vacation Mode”, is put on those magic bands before we leave for the airport for our trips. I know the frustration of things not fully being linked on My Disney Experience account so let's check this out. Sounds like as long as you see all the accounts and you can manage them all including them showing up for dining and park reservations you are in good shape, it is just a matter of linking the Magic Bands to their accounts. The good news, you can order MagicBands from
ShopDisney or you can wait to purchase them at any location on Disney property and have instant access to their use! Once you have your MagicBands, simply log onto your
My Disney Experience account and look for the drop-down menu to access
My MagicBands and Cards. Once on this page, scroll all the way down and you will see
Link a MagicBand so you can easily link your MagicBand to any account that you wish. All you need to do from there is have the MagicBand in front of you and look at the ID number on the back side of it and that band should be linked to the account you choose!
Your other option, if you so choose, is not getting a MagicBand at all. If you have access to a smart device or Apple watch that will be with you on your trip, you can set up a
Disney MagicMobile Pass. This gives you a digital pass that works exactly like a MagicBand all from your favorite smart device including your Apple watch. I personally am a huge fan of the MagicBands but this is a great option if you do not want the extra cost of a MagicBand.
I hope this helps to answer your questions, but if you have any further issues setting up or linking your MagicBands,
guest services will be more than capable of ensuring everything works seamlessly for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any further questions, we love talking about all things Disney here at planDisney so fire away!
Happy planning,
Nick
