I have a party of 13. It only lets me make reservation for 12, what do I do

    Hi Julie, welcome to planDisney!

Your baker's dozen is going to have the best time together at Walt Disney World Resort. A group of 14 extended family members recently returned from The Most Magical Place on Earth and the smiles in their pictures say it all. Whether experiencing thrilling attractions together or sharing a warm hug with a favorite character, bonds are strengthened and lifelong memories are made with a Cinderella Castle backdrop.

Valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry (MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for park entry. When planning with others, it's important to make sure everyone in your party is connected as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience. This allows you to view and make plans for each other. As you experienced, you can make theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system for up to 12 people from your Family and Friends list at a time. To make theme park reservations for your entire group, you'll need to split your party into two groups. The same applies when purchasing Disney Genie+ service and booking Lightning Lanes in the My Disney Experience mobile app. That's a lot for one person to manage. If possible, I recommend having at least one person in each household create their own My Disney Experience account as opposed to one person managing 12 additional profiles under their account. This will make it easy to divide and conquer when it comes to executing your park days. It also gives smaller groups the freedom to enjoy Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering.

Once a family member creates a My Disney Experience account, you'll need to merge that account with the profile managed under your account. To do this, click "Update" next to that person's name on your Family and Friends list and "Share Planning with [name.]" You'll then enter the email address connected to the newly created account, which sends that person an email invitation to connect. Once the invitation is accepted, the vacation entitlements housed under your account will automagically transfer to the new account and you will remain connected as Family and Friends.

Teamwork makes the dream work, especially when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thanks for making planDisney part of your vacation planning team, Julie. We're hEAR all yEAR!
