We got to the party late and now popular dining places are booked. Is there anything you can suggest to increase our chances of being able to have dinner at places like Be Our Guest and Ohana? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Star!

I am sorry that you aren't able to get some of the reservations you want.  I know how important this can be, but I also know that you will have a magical time, no matter what!

You can definitely keep checking back to see if anything opens up.  I recommend checking back multiple times a day, even up the day of when you want it.  I was once able to grab a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table when we are actually heading to the park that day.  Obviously, someone had canceled at the last minute, and we lucked out.

Additionally, there are actual companies that provide this service (of checking for cancellations).  I have used Disney Dining Buddy in the past and successfully got a reservation at Chef Mickey's for an upcoming trip.  You do have to pay (I think it's about $8 per request), but they will send you an email and/or text alert if something becomes available in your time frame.  It's then up to you to book the reservation.  They can't guarantee anything, but it's worth a shot if you have your heart set on a particular place.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your reservations and have a magical trip!
