Hi there, Kelsey!
In Florida, it's easy to get outside for a few hours year-round. And Disney definitely encourages its Guests to play in all kinds of ways! The Walt Disney World Resort offers
five world class golf facilities plus lessons and, if you need, equipment rentals.
Resort Guests and the general public are welcome to reserve times at Disney's Palm and Magnolia courses (across from Disney's Polynesian Resort), the Osprey Ridge course (at the Bonnet Creek Golf Club), and at the Lake Buena Vista course (near Downtown Disney).
The choice you make, I think, will come down to the type of course your players enjoy best (and if you don't know, pick the one that sounds most fun -- or most scenic). The Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, for example, offers a traditional country-club feeling, while the Palm Golf Course is built to feature Florida's gorgeous natural woodlands.
Incidentally, of these courses, Oak Trail is specifically designed for families to play together. It's a nine-hole walking course, and definitely more sophisticated than a game of
miniature golf (for that, check out Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland!).
If you are staying at a Disney Resort, just contact bell services the night before your tee time with your course and time information. Bell services will give you a voucher for cab fare, and will ensure that a taxi is waiting to take you to the course in plenty of time.
For tee times, call 407-939-4653 between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM daily. A guarantee with a major credit card is required on all advance reservations. Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance. The price includes the greens fee and cart rental, but does not include applicable taxes.
Appropriate golf attire is required.
See you later, celebrator!
