Party of 3 for Illumination cruise, do you have to have enough people to fill the boat or will WDW add people to the boat for us and how is the cost of the experience divided out.

Hi Roxanne!  You can reserve the boats for the Illuminations cruise for any amount of persons.  Your party of three will have the entire boat which is the great news.  You can even order special treats like a Mickey cake or chocolate covered strawberries or cookies to make the cruise even more special!  All food orders are done through private dining of the Yacht and Beach Club resort.

If there is any bad news it is that you will be responsible for the entire bill for the cruise but it is one of the things I must do on each trip.  I love Illuminations and I love being able to sit under the bridge at the International Gateway to view it without having to elbow my way for a good spot to view.  I also love the 30 minute casual cruise down the waterway to the entrance of Hollywood Studios...everything is lit up and so magical.
