Hello, we are a party of 5 with 2 hotel rooms how do we link all of our reservations through the My Disney Experience app, without it saying that we are not sharing plans with certain people, who are in the other room? Thanks!

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Alyssa!

Congratulations, you’ll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth to experience all the Disney magic with friends to create everlasting memories!

The capabilities of My Disney Experience planning enable people to travel together to share and manage plans while controlling who sees which details. The first thing we must do, Alyssa, is to link all Disney Resort Hotel reservations to your Disney account and then Invite Family & Friends to Plan and Share. If both Disney Resort Hotel reservations are linked, then one step is covered and you will be able to Invite Family & Friends to Plan and Share by connecting everyone on the reservation.

For friends not included on any Disney Resort Hotel reservations, you can invite them to plan and share by email via Inviting Family & Friends to Plan and Share even if they do not have a Disney account by simply entering their name. Lastly, if you have already started a Family & Friends list simply select Add a New Guest.

Alyssa, I will now outline the steps involved in managing who sees your specific Disney Resort Hotel details and all plans. The only thing that won’t be available to your Family & Friends on your list will be your contact and payment information. To control who sees your plans for dining and reminders please select the Family & Friends list and select the default setting called, All My Plans or Only Plans We Share in order to change what plans you wish to share with whom.

You will also have the option to make your Family & Friends list private, by visiting your Family & Friends list and selecting yourself and then selecting the Make List Private button. Please note that those who are aged 18 years of age and older, who are on your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and who are connected to your Family & Friends list will be able to see your reservation information.

    Tips:
Those connected on your Family & Friends list will be able to view and purchase your Disney PhotoPass photos, videos and related digital content. Alyssa, you may also stop the sharing of photos with anyone on your Family & Friends list by visiting your Family & Friends list, selecting the person you wish to stop the sharing of photos with by unchecking the My Disney PhotoPass Photos button. Alternatively, if you wish to stop sharing any plans and to remove someone from your Family & Friends list, please access the Family & Friends list, select the person(s) and then select Remove from This List.

Please ensure you have secured your Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservations for each day of valid theme park admission as this is the process of visiting the theme parks at this time.

Alyssa, it was my great pleasure assisting you today. I wish you all a practically perfect vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, thank you kindly for stopping by planDisney. I would like to introduce you to our Walt Disney World Resort U.K. planDisney Panelist, Jane D. who offers advice from the perspective of a UK traveller!

    Best Disney Wishes!
