I have a party of 11 and we would like to see the Hoop Dee Doo Revue together. Is it possible to get a table together in category 3 seating?

Hi Marianne! I am well in tune with getting large family group dining reservations at Walt Disney World. I was always in charge of our family of sixteen and understand the challenges that can bring. But rest assured Disney is also prepared for larger families and will do all they can to make it as magical as possible.

You will be able to reserve the seating for eleven at the Hoop Dee Doo if it is available. There are only so many seats in the category three so please get those reservations as soon as you are able within your dining window. The entire group is likely to be placed at more then one table. Before you panic please understand that this is often a much better situation. When large groups are at one table you truly can only converse and visit with those few at your end or next to you. When you break up into smaller tables you have more chance to talk with those in all seats.

To mix things up when we dined I had name tags printed and once we knew the seating arrangements we quickly drew names to sit at each table. This gave everyone new family or friends to be with and share their Disney experiences during the meals. Sometimes we had four tables of four or two tables of eight. The only allowance was to allow infants to be with one parent but even the younger kids were given new seating each meal. It is a fun and great way to keep all happy.

I recently saw a family in a Disney restaurant complain about being at two tables. They were able to get them at one table after waiting about 30 minutes for other guests to depart. When they were seated at the new table it took them ten minutes to figure out where everyone was going to sit and it ended up with most of the children in tears and crying.  Word to the wise.....reserve for the number you need and trust the dining spots to make it as wonderful as they can for you.  And enjoy my favorite show, Hoop Dee Doo!
