Party of 9 with granddaughter turning 3. Want to make as magical as possible!! AOA 2 rooms or Bay Lake Towers? Best time week before Thanksgiving or week of for crowd level and MVMCP?

I just love large family gatherings at Walt Disney World, Robyn, especially those that celebrate a special day.  I'm slightly torn as to which of the two resorts I should recommend.  Granted, Bay Lake Towers is a beautiful new property that offers convenient travel to Magic Kingdom.  On the other hand, I had the opportunity to visit Disney's new Art of Animation resort last week and I was seriously impressed.  I can almost guarantee you that your granddaughter would stand in awe of the theming there.  They truly made magic when they imagineered that resort.  It is colorful and whimsical and everything a child dreams of when he or she thinks Disney.

The sophisticated and stylish Bay Lake Tower would likely appeal more to the adults in your group.  Accommodations are chic and luxurious and--like I said--proximity is a huge perk.  I think the best choice for your group is going to come down to who you'd most like to please and which option fits better into the budget for the trip.

Historically speaking, it's safe to say that visiting the week before Thanksgiving would be more desirable as far as avoiding the highest crowd levels.  I hope that helps!
