Hi Mark,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you have a few delectable dining experiences planned with your group! Food is like an additional theme park for me - the variety and quality of dining experiences at the Walt Disney World® Resort is one of the many reasons we love to visit. While you cannot necessarily merge
advanced dining reservations, when you get to the restaurant, you can ask a cast member if they could try to seat your group together. While they cannot guarantee that your party can be seated together, cast members have always tried their best when we have arrived with two reservations for two smaller groups that we want seated together.
I hope you have secured all of your dining reservations. If you have not considered
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, I highly recommend it. The characters at breakfast are my absolute favorite. We also love dining at
California Grill during the
Happily Ever After fireworks. The view of Magic Kingdom from atop Disney's Contemporary Resort is spectacular. One final recommendation - if you have not booked Space 220 Lounge, I suggest a lunch reservation. Quite honestly, I love the serenity of this experience.
With a party of eight, you will need to make good use of those dining reservations and
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. When using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, be sure to check the available pick-up times at least 30 minutes prior to when you want to eat. On past visits, during peak dining periods, I have checked and the pick-up times are later than the time we want to eat...i.e. everybody is hungry but the soonest pick-up time is 30 minutes from the time we checked.
Mark, I am sending a little extra dose of pixie dust trusting that your party will be able to sit together. Wishing you much love and laughter as everyone recounts their adventures from the day!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
