Hi there, Samantha, and welcome to planDisney!
One of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort memories was on a
fireworks cruise across the Seven Seas Lagoon with some of my Disney-loving friends. In fact, there were so many people in our crew that we needed four boats to make our dream come true.
Each specialty fireworks cruise seats up to 10 Guests. So, with your party of 11, you will need more than one vessel. Children and babies are included in that count as well. If three of your party will be elsewhere like at the
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, then all of you will fit quite comfortably and safely in one boat. Keep in mind that if you set sail on a Magic Kingdom fireworks cruise on one of the party nights, the fireworks show will most likely be the special nighttime spectacular (instead of the usual Happily Ever After show).
If you’d rather stay together while watching a fireworks show, you could book a Magic Kingdom
Fireworks Desserts Party on one night of your holiday. One of these parties, Seats & Sweets, is especially nice because you get prime viewing of the fireworks in a covered area in Tomorrowland. The covering was very welcomed on one rainy night that I did this Enchanted Extra.
AN EXTRA GEM: You’ll definitely want to
book either of these experiences 60 days out (plus up to 10 days if you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel). They book up very fast, so you’ll want to get those locked in as soon as possible.
Samantha, I hope that this helps. Please
revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional questions about your family’s upcoming holiday. Any one of the panelists is more than happy to share our tips and tricks to have the best time ever!
Magic always,
LeAndra
