Hello we have a party of 6 doing the VIP tour for 7 hours at Disneyland. I’m having a hard time finding a definitive answer on tipping our guide. Some say 15-20% and some say they aren’t allowed to accept tips? Want to make sure I’m prepared!

    Hello, Deanna!

You are in for a "good, good, good, good time" at the Disneyland Resort! I'm so excited for you to make some fun memories at the Happiest Place on Earth.

There is no better way to have an amazing, personalized time at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park than with a Disneyland Resort VIP Tour. Your tour guide will treat you and your party to a pixie-dusted experience. You guide will be hard at work coordinating and making preparations for each step of your visit. As with other service-based offerings, it is usually customary to demonstrate appreciation to the tour guides with a gratuity that reflects that appreciation. The amount of gratuity is up to you. Guides are permitted to accept gratuities, and will certainly be grateful for any amount you choose to offer.

I hope you also take advantage of included reserved seating at select parades, stage shows, and spectaculars. My family recently enjoyed watching World of Color. And we couldn't help but get up and dance for Mickey's Mix Magic.

    Have a magical time, Deanna!
