We have a party of 8 going to Disney World, can 6 of us (adults1-3 and kids 1-3) get Fastpass for a ride while the other 2 (adult 4 child 4) get one for another but do a ride swap with the the adult (4) to ride the same ride the other 6 rode?

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel!

When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, it's a great idea to utilize the fantastic--and free-FastPass+ service. When traveling with little ones, Rider Switch can really save the day, too. Great question!

My family has often split up during a bit of our day when some would like to head to a more intense attraction, and others prefer something a little milder. When Guests would like to utilize Rider Switch, they should inform the Cast Member who is greeting them at the entrance to that attraction. All party members need to be present at that time, and those who are not riding (in your case, adult 4 and child 4) will be asked to wait in a designated area while the others ride. Once the first group is finished, the adult in the second group may ride and may bring up to 2 other Guests so that they don't have to ride alone. I love it!

If anyone in your party would like to use Rider Swap while entering an attraction on a FastPass+, everyone would need to have a FastPass+ for that attraction at that time.
