Hi Lynn,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!
Character dining is a great way to meet Disney characters. You are welcome to make reservations at any of the character dining locations, which are listed on the link I provided. If you choose a character dining experience in a theme park, please know that you will need theme park admission. Let me share some of my favorite character dining experiences with you.
I really enjoy a meal at
Tusker House Restaurant. This restaurant, located at Disney's Animal Kingdom, offers African fare as well as traditional American favorites. You can meet Donald Duck and his friends decked out in their safari gear at every meal! I also really like
'Ohana's best friends breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch. This is such a fun meal in a lovely setting at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Please do note that all character appearances are subject to change.
I do suggest that you make reservations for whichever character dining experience you choose as soon as possible. You can do this online using the links I provided above. If you are having trouble finding availability, or if you are directed to do so because of your party size, or if you simply prefer to call, you can call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463), and a cast member there can help you with making a reservation.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Lynn! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
