We have a party of 17 with 3-4 different reservations for each meal. Can the confirmation numbers be linked together so tables are close to each other vs all over the restaurant? All tips for all tables paid by one person also.

    Hi Cindy,

    Welcome to planDisney!

Wow! Your visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort is almost here!

First, I congratulate you for making advanced dining reservations for your group. Currently, dining reservation numbers are not linked in that way. You can certainly connect to other Family & Friends in My Disney Experience to be able to see everyone's plans. When you get to each dining location, I suggest that you check in with the cast members to let them know which reservations are together. Although table proximity is not guaranteed for dining reservations booked separately, cast members have always tried to do their best when we have been in a similar situation.

Also, if you have not done so already, be sure that someone on each dining reservation has the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Someone needs to be able to use the mobile app to check-in for dining reservations when that option is available. Also keep in mind the cancellation policy for each dining location. Double-check your confirmation email from each restaurant because there may be different cancellation guidance for some dining locations.

Prior to our trips, one of my girls helps me do our estimates for dining. We all take a look at the menus for the dining locations we plan to visit and we "select" an entrée. Although we may get something different when we arrive, we go through this process beforehand to try to get a good estimate of how much we will spend on dining. If you do this, you could have a pretty good idea of how much the tip should be for each dining party so the person who is planning to pay for everyone's tip could know how much to allot for tips.

Cindy, it's time to bring out the pixie dust and sprinkle some extra because your trip is near and you are traveling with a larger group. It may take a little extra patience, but remember that your memories will be priceless! One last tip - if you can, stop by the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Presented by CORKCICLE on the first day of your trip. You arrive on the last official day of the festival!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
