Hi there... our party consists of 4 adults, 1 child, and 2 babies. We are going to be in WDW 10/13-10/16. Any suggestions for great atmosphere and food for table service meals?

    Christine:

I would have to recommend some of my favorite standby's when it comes to atmosphere, not to mention food:

    • Crystal Palace, Magic Kingdom: Folks who are familiar with me on the panel know that I love the fresh salads on its buffet like tabbouleah and couscous, but it's the carved meats and extensive array of "comfort food" desserts like bread pudding and soft-serve ice cream, that have me coming back on my next visit in just a few days!  Winnie-the-Pooh will be on hand for pictures with the little ones!
    • Biergarten, Epcot:  You'll feel like you've been whisked away to a little village in the Alps upon entering!  The roast and hunter's sauce is a favorite of mine, and my kids enjoy the rotisserie chicken.  Check out the Events Listing on your way into the park near the maps so that you can time your dining with their "oompah band"!
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe, Wilderness Lodge:  The down-home cooking is a welcomed respite from burgers and fries.  Best of all, it's served up with a side order of laughter.  Encourage your child to saddle up and join the stick-horse parade between bites of their ribs!
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
