    Party of 8 is coming to WDW 10/16/12 for 4 nghts (Jambo House). We would love to switch to Bay Lk T/Brdwalk/BClub. Nothing was available when we booked or when I just checked now. How often do things really open up? How much time should I spend checkng

    Availability can open up at anytime, but often cancellations occur around 45 days in advance and just a few days before. You might also want to consider splitting up your party or spending only a night or two at one of your preferred spots and the remaining time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have managed to change resorts after making reservations several times; other trips I have not been successful. I do hope your wishes come true!

    Jambo House is an amazing accommodation. The restaurants with an exotic flair, the stunning multi-story lobby with a bridge, and the animal program options make this resort an excellent choice. The experience of staying in a room with zebras, giraffes, and storks roaming the savanna outside your window is hard to top. If you end up not switching locations you will so enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
