How ya doin', Scott, and welcome to planDisney!
Some of my fondest memories at the Walt Disney World Resort didn't take place in the parks. They were the in-room shenanigans at
Disney Resort Collection hotels with friends. I've actually done plenty of this kind of room shuffling when preparing for my vacations. Let's get you all booked up!
The easiest way that I've fixed these sorts of issues is by speaking to the folks over at
Tickets and Hotel Reservations. Those Cast Members are the best and can check for any availability issues before moving anyone anywhere. If your room isn't at capacity, they'll be able to add the new Guest and cancel the other reservation. Make sure to have the names of the lead Guests on both reservations and both reservation numbers on hand to make things go smoothly. With your trip this far out, you're still out of danger of any cancellation fees, so go ahead and make those changes now for your peace of mind.
Pro-tip: Keep an eye on the
special offers, deals, and discounts page. The whole reason I've merged two rooms in the past was to take advantage of a deal that got released before our trip. More coins saved means more snacks purchased.
Pro-PRO tip: Be on the lookout for the dates for the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. It's traditionally in full swing by the time your vacation comes around, and it's always a magical time.
Scott, the more in the room (within room capacity), the merrier! I hope y'all have an absolute blast. If you have any other questions, come back to
see me for another chat!Happy planning!
