We have a party of 4. If we buy LLMP and Magic Bands for each of us, do we have to book the ride for each rider or will booking for one in the party book for all four? The party is 2 adults 2 children.

    Hi Keith!

Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you are in the midst of planning a magical visit for your family to the Happiest Place on Earth! Pre-planning is always a great idea to ensure a smooth carpet ride through the magic, and you are going to love having Lightning Lane Multi Passes in your pocket. Let's take a look at your question!

The good news is that if all of your tickets are linked to one Disneyland account, you will be able to make Lightning Lane selections together as a group, and you do not need to make them individually for each Guest. I'm assuming that you likely purchased all of the tickets at the same time, in which case the tickets should already be sitting pretty in the account used to make the purchase. To double-check, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the app and select "My Tickets & Passes". You should be able to scroll through all four of your tickets.

Once you scan through the Main Entrance Gates, that's the time that you can make your first Lightning Lane selection. Head back into the app and tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar, followed by "Book Lightning Lane Entry". From here, you will select which attraction you would like to book. I like to hit the toggle to "Show Only Lightning Lane Experiences" to make it a more efficient process. You will be able to see what return times are currently available for each attraction and make your choice from there - you'll notice that the more popular rides will start to fill up and have later return time windows as the day goes on. Once you select an attraction, you will be asked to confirm the Guests that will be riding with you. It should auto-populate with the Guests who have tickets for that day and who have scanned into the park. You can "Select All" for an easy one-two-three booking process, or if you need to split up, you can make selections for just part of your group. I would often take advantage of this when my daughter was ready for thrills like Space Mountain and my son was not quite ready. I would book Lightning Lanes for my daughter and me together and book a similar return time for my husband and son on a nearby attraction that was more suitable for smaller Mouseketeers, like Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. The magic truly meets everyone in their own moment!

Now, don't forget that with your Multi Pass purchase, you will have unlimited digital downloads of all the PhotoPass photos you snap during the day. Disney PhotoPass photographers are located throughout Disneyland and California Adventure and can be easily spotted at park icons like Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Millennium Falcon in Galaxy's Edge, and the entrance to Avengers Campus and Cars Land. You can also find them with just a few taps in the app by heading to the pinpoint icon to pull up the park map. Along the top, scroll until you see PhotoPass to filter the locations, which will then appear on the map!

Keith, I hope this has been helpful in your planning! Get ready to enjoy all the happy haunts of the Halloween season! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
