    Hi! Party of 6 basic dp in regards to tipping. Would you recommend using gift cards or charging to room. We've been given gift cards. If charge to room is suggested can I use gift card to pay the room charge?Want to make things simple for us & server

    Hi Julie - when you check in to your resort, you can have the cast member at reception put the value of the gift cards on your room.  The only caveat to this is that they aren't able to give you a refund, so you should only apply what you know you'll use (you can always go back and put more cards on the account).

    Then, use the Key to the World card to pay your gratuities and additional charges.  That way, you don't have to worry about losing the gift cards.
