Hi Emmanuel,
It's always nice to see you planning Disney at planDisney. Advance reservations for dining are an important piece of the
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning puzzle. To make sure we're on the same page,
dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire stay, up to 10 days, 60 days before check-in, which is a significant advantage when it comes to booking popular dining experiences.
Dining reservations are connected to Guests' My Disney Experience accounts. When it's time to check in for a dining reservation, I love the convenience of checking in via the My Disney Experience mobile app. When you are in close proximity to the restaurant and within 15 minutes of your reservation time, a push notification pops up and reminds you it's time to check in for your reservation. The mobile check-in process asks you to specify how many adults, children, and/or infants are in your party. You can even specify how many high chairs and/or booster seats you need. Mobile check-in also allows you to request an accessible space for a wheelchair or ECV, dietary requests, and declare any celebrations. Once you're checked in, the hostess automagically knows you're there and will call your name when your table is ready.
If you are not using mobile check-in to access your dining reservation, Emmanuel, you give the Cast Member at the host stand the name attached to the reservation. Your name will match the name and information they have on their list and you will be seated as soon as possible. I recently had to miss out on a dining reservation I made for my family at Olivia's Cafe at Disney's Old Key West Resort. My husband had no trouble giving my name at the time of check-in and redeeming our reservation.
In addition to some incredible sit-down meals, be sure to save room for snacks! I'm team #nocheese when it comes to a Mickey pretzel and my favorite sweet treat is a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar.
Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions, Emmanuel.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
