I'm excited to hear that you're planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort next year! With countless new experiences making their way to the parks and resorts, you'll have plenty to look forward to during your stay!
Check-in time at your Disney Resort hotel will typically begin at 3 PM on the night of your arrival, with Deluxe Villas starting at 4 PM. If you are arriving earlier that morning, you will need to begin your stay a night earlier in order to have a room ready when you arrive. In this case, I suggest changing your reservation to start on January 7th. Once you make this change, you can
call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be able to note your late arrival on your reservation.
Alexis, you have plenty to look forward to during your stay. Disney's Hollywood Studios has added two new shows that I highly suggest making time to see.
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After debuted earlier this year and gives Guests the chance to experience a few characters that do not usually get a ton of shine. This show is a ton of fun and packed with surprises.
The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure is also now welcoming Guests each day. This theatrical production is the perfect opportunity for Guests to experience this classic tale in a new light. Adding these two experiences will help round out an amazing day at Hollywood Studios.
