Hi Moms! Our party of 6 adults and two kids will be traveling to BLT in June 2014. There are two seperate families that each want to use their DVC points. Can we arrange for the seperate rooms to be next to each other??

    Hi Brent,

My family and I love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  It is so sleek and modern, and the ability to walk to Magic Kingdom Park is wonderful!

You can request that your room and the other family's room be located close to each other.  To do this, both families should make the request when you book the reservation.  I would suggest that you make the request by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 so that you can explain the request to them.  Then, about ten days before your check-in date, call Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort directly at 407-824-1000 to be sure that the request is noted.  Finally, when you check in, mention your request again.  It might be upon your check in day that if you are willing to wait a little longer for your rooms that they might be better able to accommodate your request.  Please do know that Disney will do everything that they can to honor your request, but this is not a guarantee.

Traveling with another family can be so much fun, Brent.  Have a great time, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
