We are a party of 7 adults, 2 parents and 5 college-aged kids, traveling to Disney World next week. Which resort character breakfast or dinner would you recommend us to experience? We are all kids at heart and especially fond of the classic Disney movies.

    Hi, Rogelio!

Your trip is almost here! It's going to be fantastic!

I just visited the Walt Disney World Resort with my parents, my younger sister, and my cousin, and we had the best time at our character meals. My mom, who wasn't so excited in the beginning, ended up hugging Donald Duck and asking him for endless photos!

My first suggestion is a brunch at Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy are the hosts there, and the buffet meal is perfect for a hearty brunch. This meal is also a good one to book in such short notice, so you may find availability if you search for it as soon as possible.

My second suggestion is dinner at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This dinner is hosted by Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia. The wicked stepsisters are among the best characters at the Walt Disney World Resort!

The Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is also fantastic, but this reservation may be a bit harder to find. The atmosphere is whimsical, and the pace of this dinner is perfect for adult-only groups, in my opinion. If you really want to join Snow White for this meal, I suggest using the My Disney Experience app to check availability hourly, especially when you're at the Walt Disney World Resort. A lot of people change their plans 24 hours before their meals to avoid cancellation fees, so you may find the perfect table with a little Pixie Dust!

Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is also a fantastic choice for a relaxed day. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter are the hosts, and they offer a very interesting "old-school" Disney vibe.

I hope that you're able to find the perfect reservation for your family, Rogelio! Beyond the suggestions, my best advice for you is to book your meal as soon as possible, as character dining experiences are among the most coveted moments at the Walt Disney World Resort.

If more questions pop up as you're packing, please, don't hesitate to come back. We're here to help!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
