Hello, we are a party of 2 adults and 2 kids. We’ll purchase LLS Passes for TRON, wondering how many passes do we need in this case to use rider switch? Should we still purchase 4, or just 2 for the first party? Thanks!

Hiya, Shichen, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a visit to Magic Kingdom with your family. There's nothing I love more than strolling down Main Street U.S.A. with my family, knowing adventure is just around the corner!

With its fairytale vibes and nostalgic charm, Magic Kingdom has always been my favorite Walt Disney World theme park. Whenever I visit, I like to begin my day with a heartwarming tour through Fantasyland and a stop at Gaston's Tavern (where I indulge in a delicious Warm Cinnamon Roll). And after that? It's time for some serious thrills on my favorite rollercoasters, like TRON Lightcycle / Run!

TRON Lightcycle / Run is a super popular Magic Kingdom attraction, so if you're looking to shorten your wait, you're smart to consider Lightning Lane passes for your family. And since Lightning Lane does work with Rider Switch, you'll be able to use both of these features together.

Shichen, the number of Lightning Lane Single Passes you'll need to purchase depends on the number of people who want to ride. I see that you're traveling as a family of four, and since you're interested in Rider Switch, I'll assume one of your children is too small to ride. In this case, you'll need to purchase three Lightning Lane passes for the attraction: one for each adult rider, and one for your older kiddo. When you approach the entrance to TRON Lightcycle / Run, talk to a Disney Cast Member and let them know you'd like to use Rider Switch. Then, one of the adults can enter through the Lightning Lane to ride with your big kid. When the first group is done, it's time for the second adult to enter the grid - and for your big kid to ride again! When the second group approaches the Lightning Lane entrance, be sure to let the Cast Member know you're using Rider Switch, so they know your child is riding as your "guest." Initiate magic in 3, 2, 1!

Bonus Tip: TRON Lightcycle / Run is thrilling any time of day, but for a glowing experience, schedule your Lightning Lane Single Pass at night. The attraction lights up in the dark, making for an extra-memorable ride.

I hope this information is helpful, Shichen, and that your visit to Magic Kingdom is full of magical memories and plenty of thrills. If you have any more planning questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
