I have a party of 5 - 2 adults, 3 kids - heading to DisneyWorld later this year. Scheduling fast passes and dining is such a chore. If we sign-up for the VIP Services, can we simply tell our guide what rides, dining, and shows we want to accomplish?

Hi Shane! I understand how frazzled you might be trying to attempt to plan and make everyone happy at the same time. I am always in charge of our family trips and it becomes a science as to how to get some on one ride and others on another and then all together for dining.

We have used the VIP Guide Service many times while at Walt Disney World. This service is expensive and rates keep going up. Holiday times are especially high right now. No matter when you book you will have to book a minimum of 7 hours and the rate is figured on an hourly basis.

The Magic Kingdom is a great place to use a guide since so many of the attractions use the FastPass+ system. To pick just three is a very hard thing to do. You develop your own plan for your guide and its best to let the VIP group know ahead of time what you would like to do and if you would also like to reserve a spot for parades and fireworks. You can meet in the parks or have the guide pick you up at any resort and drop you back off if that fits your plans best. You can also ask the VIP service to secure some dining reservations for you but again do that in advance and don't wait until the last minute. We usually include our guide for dining but that is strictly up to you.

The guides can get you in all FastPass lines but you will need to wait as all other guests in these lines. In other words this service does not get you in the "back door" where you immediately get on the attractions. This is also the case for all meet and greets that have a FastPass line but just remember if they don't have it you cannot get in any sooner then any other guest.

This fall our family will do three of the four parks with our guide and it will be a long day. In the past we have actually done all four parks! The day is yours to say what to do and where and if the price does not scare you away you will enjoy every minute of it!
