    Party of 8-3adults, 2 grandparents & ages 10, 6 & 6. Planning our first WDW trip for Oct 2011. Will be staying on the property either a villa or 2 separate rooms. Why are the treehouse villas so inexpensive vs 2 rooms at Poly? We want all of the

    I agree with you.  I've always thought the treehouse villas were an incredible deal considering the amenities there.  Three bedrooms for a large traveling party, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, close proximity to shopping in the Downtown Disney area...all for a very reasonable price!  These accommodations are less expensive than two rooms at Disney's Polynesian Resort because the Polynesian is on the monorail in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.  Guests will pay a premium for this convenience.  If you are willing to ride complimentary Disney buses to all of the theme parks, then a treehouse at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa would be an excellent choice!
