I have 2 ?s. 1st, we will be a party of 12 (8 adults and 4 children - 5, 3, 2 yrs and 2mos.) Are some restaurants better equipped to handle larger parties? 2nd, do we need to bring our infant seat to put in a highchair for our 2 month old?

We used to travel with 16 family members and one of the things we learned in getting dining tables was that it is often better not to be at one table!  With one large table you will never be able to talk to more then those couple of people next or across from you.  Most restaurants will put you at two tables and they will do everything they can to put you close or side by side.  You will find that you can converse much easier!

The larger the restaurant the better they can handle a large reservation but don't let that from preventing you from trying to go wherever you wish.  Call early and let them figure out the configuration for your group when you arrive.  I also suggest you arrive a bit earlier then usual as sometimes your wait will be longer as they get the table(s) ready.

Since many restaurants are small and tables are close together it is wise to bring the seat that can fit into the high chairs for the infant. They will not let strollers into most places due to the lack of room.  Sometimes it is a cast member decision on any given day but its best to go prepared for any answer.
