Hey there, Beth!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Oh boy! It sounds like your cast of characters will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of months. The only thing better than a Disney Parks vacation is spending it with the people you love! Beth, I'd be happy to help you secure bookings for memorable dining experiences for your
'Ohana.
Guests may book
dining reservations beginning 60 days in advance, and those staying at eligible Disney Resort hotels may secure bookings for their lengths of stay beginning at that time (up to 10 nights)! Some dining reservations (especially those that are very popular or are smaller locations) may be more difficult to secure than others for larger parties, Beth. However, a quick search of reservation availability revealed several great Disney Character dining experiences available 60 days out from today! A few available bookings for nine Guests that I found were
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Cape May Cafe, and
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
Beth, if you aren't able to find reservations for your party of nine, consider booking two reservations (for four and five Guests each) within 30 minutes of each other. While it isn't guaranteed and I can't speculate on your chances, you could request to be seated together once you arrive at the dining location. (I have successfully used this method at
Garden Grill Restaurant previously to seat a group of nine!) To make this type of request, I recommend speaking to the friendly Cast Member at the host stand instead of utilizing
mobile dine check-in.
Given your arrival date, your 60-day window may be closer than you think, Beth! Double-check your countdown calendar to ensure you're ready to book your reservations at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time 60 days before your scheduled check-in date. I wouldn't want you to miss out on every opportunity available to your fabulous family! For those dining experiences that are tougher to score, I recommend planning those for dates later into your visit. This will ensure you the best chances of securing those extremely popular
Character Dining bookings!
Beth, I hope these details help you prepare for your 60-day dining reservation window. I wish your family a trip filled with special memories! If you have any additional questions ahead of your trip, find us right here at
planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
