Hiya, Lisa!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad that you stopped by with your question. Planning a group trip to The Most Magical is so much fun. I believe the more, the merrier, and heading to the theme parks with your favorite crew is no exception!
When it comes to reservations (dining or Walt Disney World Resort hotel), the name cannot be modified from the original name used at booking. So, for example, if your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package or hotel room is booked under Winnie the Pooh, you could not add the name 100 Acre Wood Crew to the reservation. This may be a bit of a bummer, because who doesn't love group names?! Whether your travel party is a family reunion with a great nickname, a sports team, a youth group, or just a group of friends that have a special name just for giggles, the representation of the group as a whole is part of the fun! And even though you cannot add the group name to an official reservation, you can still show it off throughout your visit! You can pick up celebration buttons at any resort hotel front desk or Guest relations center. You can customize these buttons with your group name, even if you are simply celebrating being together on Main Street U.S.A.! You can also mention your group name to the Cast Member when checking in for your dining reservations. They might just call that name when your table is ready. And one of my favorite parts of traveling with a bigger group is personalized shirts. I know, I know, this option may not be for everyone. But it can be so much fun!
While we are on the topic of reservations, I want to drop a quick note about
Disney Park Pass. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Everyone in your group will need to make a reservation for each day that you will be in the theme parks. This is such an incredible year to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong and traditional
Character Greetings are back! Due to popularity, some dates may have
limited reservation availability, so don't delay. Make your Park Pass reservations today!
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
