Hi, there!
Margie, I'm so excited to see you have plans to visit
Magic Kingdom Park next week. And with little ones in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories.
As a mom of three, Magic Kingdom Park is my very favorite of the four theme parks. With so many
family-friendly attractions, I know my entire family will be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling at this iconic park!
To answer your question, all the "lands" in Magic Kingdom Park are suitable for young children. In Adventureland, your kids will enjoy The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Swiss Family Treehouse, Jungle Cruise, and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. They may even enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean! In Frontierland, visit Tom Sawyer Island and Country Bear Jamboree for a rootin' tootin' good time. When you visit Tomorrowland, try Astro Orbiter and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Of the four lands at Magic Kingdom Park, the best for little ones is definitely Fantasyland. This section of the park is full of attractions that don't feature a height requirement. Some of my kids' favorites include Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.
I encourage you to visit the
Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Little Ones. It has lots of helpful information for Guests traveling with mini-Mouseketeers!
One last tip - be sure to catch a performance of
Happily Ever After when you visit Magic Kingdom Park. This nighttime spectacular is not to be missed! It's truly the most magical way to end a pixie-dusted day.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Margie. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
