Hi Victoria, welcome to planDisney.
It's best if your partner consults with their medical practitioner to determine what rides are suitable. While I cannot give any specific recommendations based on your partner's condition, I always like to remind all Guests that visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth is about SO much more than rides. That said, some of my favourite rides at Walt Disney World felt comfortable enough to bring my baby on.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover,
it's a small world, and
Na'vi River Journey, to name a few. Please know that you can filter all the attractions in Walt Disney World by those that hold a
Health Advisory.
The entertainment at Walt Disney World is (for me) what sets it apart from anything else! Each Park offers fabulous shows throughout the day. There are parades like the
Festival of Fantasy, live shows like
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios Park and unique offerings like
Turtle Talk with Crush. Guaranteed belly laughs here with Crush!
I recommend coinciding your visit with one of the EPCOT festivals.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is my ultimate choice. The Park looks beautiful, there are usually additional walk-through attractions, including a treasure hunt, and the food booths offer up some real delights. Speaking of food, dining at Walt Disney World is a whole vibe. Character dining gives all the feels no matter how old you are, and a recent meal in
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera blew us away.
This is by no feat an exhaustive list of options at Walt Disney World, but I wanted to highlight that there is so much to do for all Guests that one trip will never be enough!
Victoria, I hope this information encourages you and your partner to take that adventure together. I'm confident you'll both be so happy you made the choice to visit the magic! We're here to help at
planDisney, if you need anything else to plan your trip.
