Hello Emma,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with such a zip-a-dee-doo-dah enquiry about your plans to return to the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort! 2019 really does seem like such an age ago now, so no doubt both you and your lovely partner must be feeling so very excited about walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A once again.
It's actually true to say that a lot has happened as we continue
Returning to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World Resort. But in my opinion, the magic and wonder of Disney still remains the same!
Walt Disney World Resort has some thoughtful accommodations in place for Guests living with Disabilities. I know from my own personal experience of holidaying at Walt Disney World Resort with a close family member who lives with a
Cognitive (hidden) Disability that the
Disability Access Service (DAS) was invaluable to our family's enjoyment of the Disney Theme Parks.
Emma, I'm happy to share that the Disability Access Service (DAS) is complimentary! To discuss registration for the Disability Access Service (DAS), simply make your way to a Disney Theme Park
Guest Relations location where Cast Members will be more than happy to discuss the individual needs of the Guest wishing to register for DAS.
If registration is appropriate for the Guest's individual needs, the Disability Access Service (DAS) will be all set to last for up to 60 whole days at Walt Disney World Resort!
When thinking about summoning the
Disney Genie Service via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll be pleased to know this magical service is also complimentary!
Within the Disney Genie Service, Guests can opt to purchase
Disney Genie+ or indeed
Individual Ligtnening Lanes for select Attractions at Walt Disney World Resort; whichever service best suits your wishes and desires!
Emma, as the current
UK-based planDisney Panelist, I hope I've been able to provide a little pixie-dusted insight for your upcoming holiday to the most magical place on earth. Please know you'll always be welcome to return to
me here at planDisney if you should have any follow-up questions.
Have a great Disney day ~
Jane
