My husband is a huge fan of
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and more often than not, it's just the two of us as we venture out
to brave the waves or spend part of the day just
drifting away in Castaway Creek. When it comes to snagging a pair of lounge chairs, we've never had a problem finding two together especially in the areas between
Typhoon Tilly's and the
Storm Slides.
You might find the areas immediately bordering the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool to get occupied first as soon as it opens with folks and families claiming their chairs by draping towels all over them, so it could be handy to take advantage of
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas available to rent which come with two reserved lounge chairs and towels included so you won't need to worry about rushing to find that perfect spot to watch the waves roll in.
I've observed that many families just leave their belongings at their lounge chairs throughout the day, but you may have some additional peace of mind with a
locker rental if you've got any valuables or items you'd ideally want to keep sand-free and away from the water. (To be honest, the one time we've discovered anything missing from our lounge chairs was a bottle of sunscreen lotion.) If you're concerned about your mobile devices, we found it worthwhile to purchase those waterproof protector pouches available at the merchandise locations like
Singapore Sal's so that we could safely take them along with us and capture some great shots of our watery fun all day!
If you decide that you want a more secluded sanctuary for the day you might opt for the selection of
Beachcomber Shacks that come with more and more offerings the more you'd want to splurge for just the two of you; all of these also come with towels and a locker included with the rental. It's important to note that every time that we've visited over the past year all we needed to do was show our key card for our stay at a
Disney Resort Hotel in order to request as many complimentary towels as we wanted during the day. (Policies and offerings are always subject to change without prior notice, but have remained the same as of our visit this week.)
