Hey there, Brianna, and welcome to planDisney. This Georgia resident wishes they would extend the resident annual pass option to us since so many Georgians travel yearly to the "place where dreams come true."
To purchase a Walt Disney World Resort Florida Resident Annual Pass, you must have proof of residency. One Florida resident may not buy another person a Florida resident pass unless the person receiving the pass is also a Florida Resident. Here are how you can prove to Mickey and the gang that you are a Sunshine State resident and, fortunately, you may do it all online.
- Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
- Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
- Valid Florida-based military ID
If you do not have one of these IDs then you may use alternate proof such as the ones listed below combined with a photo ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card).
Bills, Policies, or Registration
- Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill
- Current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
- Current Utility bill (power / phone / cable / water)
- Bills can be no more than 2 months old (P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency)
Mail
- Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings, or investment account statements
- Mail from federal, state, county, or city government agencies
- Mail can be no more than 2 months old (P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency)
You may be able to get a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass on your own with the guidelines above because you both will need it to have the same annual benefits. One person's pass will not be valid for a different person.
planDisney Pro Tip: Even though you can create a
Disney MagicMobile Service pass and show proof of your annual pass on the
My Disney Experience app, it is always best to carry your card with you at the theme parks to take advantage of all the enchanted
benefits.
Brianna, I hope this information helps you. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions. The planDisney panel is here to help.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
