My partner and I are planning to stay at the Swan @ Disney World from June 11 - 17 (super early checkout though). What parks can we get into? I'd like to purchase ASAP!

Hey there, Alan! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like your vacation plans are really coming together! I think you’ll love staying at the Walt Disney World Swan hotel. It’s just beautiful, and only a walk or a quick boat ride from two theme parks. You’ll literally be in the middle of the magic!

So now let’s get your park plans on track. As Walt Disney World continues to operate under its phased reopening procedures, Guests need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the initial theme park they plan to visit each day. That means we'll want to take a look at the Availability Calendar before you buy your tickets, so let's do that now! Looking at your dates of June 11-17, 2021, there's a mix of days with some parks available, one day with all parks available, and one day with no availability in any park (there's your Resort pool day right there!). It looks like you'll be able to visit all four theme parks at some point in your vacation. I suggest starting with the days that have the most availability and reserving Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom Park first, then adding in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT on the other days.

Also, you might want to consider adding the Park Hopper Option to your tickets, since that will allow you to visit extra theme parks on days that reservations may be harder to come by. With the Park Hopper Option, you'll go to the park where you have a reservation first, then you can hop to other parks after 2 p.m. That also gives you the option of a stroll over to EPCOT for a nightcap after a fun day in the parks. Just one perk of staying at the Walt Disney World Swan!

Now that we've checked the dates, you're ready to buy your tickets! You may find the system won't let you complete the transaction since one of your days is unavailable. If that happens, I'd call Guest Relations and have a Cast Member help you make your purchase. You can also use the chat feature in the My Disney Experience app on your phone. Just click on the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right of your screen, then on the "Chat With Us" tile. That will save you some time on hold so you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible. They're definitely going fast!

I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Alan! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
