My partner and I own a vacation home in Florida and we are usually there once a month. Does this qualify us to purchase tickets as residents? We have a mortgage and pay Florida taxes. Our bills are mailed to our home in Nashville.

Hi there, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for coming to us with your question!

How amazing to own a vacation home in Florida! Whether it is your primary residence or otherwise, the fact that you are Florida homeowners qualifies you for Florida resident status! You are eligible to enjoy many perks, including special ticket pricing! Florida residency can be verified either digitally online or in person at a Vacation Planning window with valid forms of identification. The ID can be in the form of a valid Florida driver’s license, ID card (military or standard), or otherwise, you can present a valid Mortgage statement dated from the prior 2 months, or other bills or certain types of mail confirming the address.

Melissa, I hope that this information helps you enjoy your next visit to Walt Disney World as a Florida resident! If you need any assistance with other parts of your planning, please do not hesitate to come back to see us again soon!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
