Hi, my partner will not be able to arrive in time for our scheduled departure from Cape Canaveral on the Disney Wish. Can she board the next morning in Nassau?

    Hi Kyle,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

I’m really sorry to hear that your partner won’t be able to fly into Orlando early enough to allow her to board the Disney Wish with you at Port Canaveral on embarkation day. I’ll cross my fingers that she’s able to work something out in order to make it on time – losing even an hour of the Magic would really devastate me, let alone a whole night.

That said, please contact Disney Cruise Line ASAP by telephone or by email in order to find out what her options are for embarkation in Nassau. Although I’ve heard that boarding the ship at another port may be possible, you’ll need to make special arrangements to allow her to do so. Plus, Disney Cruise Line can change its policies at any time, and what was allowed for one voyage may no longer be an option for another one.

I’ll be thinking of you, Kyle and I’m sending you tons of virtual pixie dust! I’m really hoping that your partner’s travel plans can be changed so that she can board the ship, as scheduled, the day it sets sail out of Port Canaveral.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
