Hiya Nicholas!
Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite things to do is plan my next trip to Walt Disney World and I hope you are having fun doing it as well! You are so lucky that your partner has one of the special tickets that don't have an expiration date. How I wish I was smart to save a few days from older tickets myself but I plan my vacations just like I eat a Mickey Pretzel- no crumbs left behind.
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who told me that if you want to add the
Park Hopper Option to the existing ticket it must be added to the entire ticket including the days that have already been used. The only way to get a 1-day Park Hopper option ticket is to buy a new ticket by itself.
If you wish to do this head over to your
My Disney Experience Account and scroll down till you can see "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Then click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" right underneath. You should see the ticket you wish to edit here. Select it and click on the "Change Ticket" button. Look for "Ticket Type" and click on "Upgrade Ticket." It will be here that you select what you want to change about your ticket and make any payments. That's it!
During your upcoming visit, make sure to enjoy everything classic and all that's new! A particularly new attraction is
TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. Your ticket already includes the opportunity to try and grab a spot on the
Virtual Queue twice a day so make sure you don't miss out. I am hoping to get a chance to ride it myself and boy am I making sure to include this in my plans.
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please free to
let me know.
Happy Planning!
